Welcome To Term 1! (2024-2025)
It is with great excitement that we welcome you to a brand-new academic year at Marigold School! As we embark on the 2024-2025 journey, we are thrilled to see familiar faces returning and to warmly greet new members of our school community. As we begin the new academic year, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge God’s goodness and faithfulness to us. His grace has seen us through the past year, and we are grateful for His guidance, protection, and blessings. It is with joyful hearts that we welcome you all to Marigold School Community. We are excited to embark on this new chapter, confident that with God’s continued provision, this year will be filled with growth, learning, and success. Together, we will support each child to reach their full potential, while also nurturing a spirit of gratitude and resilience. May this year be one of blessing, achievement, and joy for all of us. Reminders Please
1. Reopening
School will resume on September 17th, 2024. As God faithfully watched over us last term, we trust in His ongoing protection and guidance for the new term ahead. Let us continue to give Him all praise and glory for His abundant blessings.
2. Reporting Time
School gates open at 6:30 AM, with classes commencing at 8:00 AM. Kindly ensure your wards arrive punctually to make the most of our morning routines. Your cooperation greatly contributes to their positive learning experience.
3. Snacks
Parents, please ensure your children have snacks; please refrain from requesting staff to buy snacks for your wards. This ensures a 2 smooth school routine. We thank you for your understanding in this.
4. International Olympiads
Marigold proudly participates in the Ghana Olympiad Academy programs, offering students valuable opportunities to engage in international Olympiad examinations. This exposure not only enhances their academic skills but also provides them with national and international recognition. Last year, our participation yielded remarkable results, with our students securing 4 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze medals. Congratulations to all the students who contributed to this success! We encourage parents to register their wards for this enriching experience. Let’s empower our students to excel on both national and international platforms.

5. Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination
We are thrilled to announce that we recently completed our rst-ever primary checkpoint exams. Our students achieved remarkable success, with many attaining high and outstanding grades This exceptional performance reects the dedication and hard work of our students, the unwavering support of their parents, and the commitment of our teaching staff. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and look forward to maintaining and exceeding this standard in future assessments. Congratulations to all our students for their impressive performance.

6. School Fees
As we begin a new academic year, we would like to kindly remind you of the importance of paying school fees on time. The timely payment of fees is essential to the smooth and effective operation of the school. It allows us to maintain the high standards of education and services that your children deserve, including providing quality teaching staff, maintaining school facilities, and ensuring access to necessary learning materials and programs.
We understand that times may be challenging, and we appreciate your commitment to investing in your child’s education. To continue offering the best for your children, we kindly ask that all fees are paid by the specied due dates. This will ensure that we can meet our obligations and continue providing a nurturing and well-resourced learning environment.
If you have any concerns or require assistance with payment arrangements, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school’s administration. We are here to support you in any way we can.
7. Installment Payment
Please note that the school offers a three installment option for school fee payments. We kindly request that either the full amount or the first installment be paid before the day of school reopening. Thank you for your cooperation.
8. Uniforms
Parents, please ensure your children wear the approved uniform, style, and color to school. We recommend using the school’s Seamstress/Tailor for uniform consistency. Students not in proper uniform will not be allowed into the classroom. Thank you for your cooperation.

Prescribed uniform with black-leather shoes and black socks.
Thursday
Polo shirt with jeans, black sneakers and black socks.
Friday
Jersey, black shoes and black socks
9. Extra Curriculum Activities
Marigold collaborates with various organizations to offer students activities such as Piano Skills, Swimming, Robotics, Taekwondo, and Ballet. Parents interested in enrolling their children in any of these activities should contact the administration for more details.
10. After School Care
School closes at 3:00pm, and parents have one hour to pick up their wards. Pupils picked up after 4:00pm will be charged for after-school care.
11. Feeding
Feeding is optional and paid monthly in advance. Please make payments via the school’s Momo number 0243373001; Do not pay at the bank! After payment, you’ll receive a link to choose your ward’s monthly meal.
