Our history

Established in 2015 as Marigold Montessori School, our journey began in a charming 5-bedroom rented building at Community 22, Tema, with an initial enrollment of four students in Nursery One. Rooted in the Montessori methodology, our mission is aimed at nurturing students academically, socially, and emotionally.

With enthusiasm and a vision for the future, in January 2020, we moved to our current location after acquiring a plot of land and constructing our first school block. The subsequent increase in enrollment has been a testament to our dynamic educational environment and commitment to fostering a positive learning community.

In 2022, embracing progress and growth, we adopted the Cambridge curriculum for the primary department, showcasing our commitment to a comprehensive and globally recognized educational experience. To reflect this positive change, our name was gracefully updated to Marigold School, maintaining the cherished Montessori Curriculum in the preschool department.

Marigold School was founded to train and educate children based on Christian Principles. The school’s founders believe that having a high-quality, state-of-the-art child-centered school would benefit the families living within Community 22, the surrounding suburbs, and Tema. Our school is unique because of its relationship to the community in which it is established.
